Working Hours has been amended at Woodbine Mohawk Park

Last Updated on August 5, 2023

Woodbine Entertainment, the premier horse racing operator in Ontario, divulged its revised operating hours for the esteemed Racebook at Woodbine Mohawk Park in Campbellville. Henceforth, the venue will graciously accommodate visitors on tranquil Sunday afternoons. As a part of an exclusive promotion on Sunday, July 16, 2023, the track proffered program pages featuring past performance details.

Distinguished as a paramount destination for Standardbred racing throughout Canada, the circuit stands tall as an eminent facility positioned 40 km to the southwest of Woodbine Entertainment’s alternative racetrack, Woodbine Racetrack, nestled in Toronto. Beyond its exceptional harness racing events, it boasts an opulent slot machine parlour encompassing a staggering array of over 1,000 slots, operated by the esteemed Great Canadian Entertainment

Revised Racebook Schedule

In the wake of recent alterations made by the esteemed horse racing operator, Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Racebook now extends its availability to Sundays. To commemorate the occasion, the track has introduced complimentary past performance program pages. Furthermore, the operator has confirmed that Tim Hortons will remain open throughout all Racebook hours throughout the week.

According to the leading figure in horse racing, the Campbellville track’s Racebook will open on Sundays after 12 p.m. Additionally, it will open at 6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays, the Racebook will commence operations at 12 p.m. For enthusiasts unable to visit the track, online horse race wagering is also available through HPIbet.com.

Aside from the Racebook, the horse racing authority recently unveiled the implementation of Swinger, also known as Omni Wager, across its Ontario facilities. This innovative feature necessitates horseplayers to select two out of the top three finishers in a race, granting flexibility for first and second, first and third, or second and third place outcomes.

However, following the announcement, the operator delivered regrettable news to horsepeople as it was forced to cancel the fourth race from the card scheduled for Saturday, July 15. All remaining events on the card were subsequently voided due to a deluge that soaked the track. Presently, racing at the track has resumed its regular schedule, with the next races slated for Monday, July 17, 2023, with a post time of 7 p.m.

Marking the 60th anniversary of horse racing, Woodbine Mohawk Park celebrates this momentous year since April. In honor of the occasion, the facility orchestrated special festivities to commemorate the milestone. The first 300 fans to enter the gates during the celebratory weekend were treated to delectable cupcakes, accompanied by a selection of specialty drinks.

Yet, the festivities did not end there. The track hosted a celebratory program, with the highlight being the “Mohawk 60th Anniversary Pace,” featured as the seventh race. Adding to the spectacle, the track unveiled its new Track Lights Colour Show, a mesmerizing synchronized light and audio display reminiscent of those seen in grand arenas and stadiums during monumental sporting events.
